Birding Sri Lanka Part 4

This is the last part, and covers Dec 8 - 11. We start with a morning's birding around Tissa, and then an undocumented transport uphill to Nuwara Eliya. Dec 9 we're birding Horton Plains NP and Victoria Park in Nuwara Eliya. Dec 10 we had a predawn excursion close to Nuwara Eliya, to get Sri Lanka Whistling Thrush and Indian Blue Robin. Both were successful, but only the Robin got caught on pixels. After that we returned to the hotel for breakfast and check-out, then transport to Kandy with one stop on the way for some birds and strange lizards. Dec 11 was the last day of the trip, and we spent the morning birding Hantana Mountain before returning to Kandy for a late lunch. After that it was transport back to Colombo, and a very late flight home to Sweden.
