The lab model is designed for vacuum operation and has a trough with jacketed construction for circuiting heat transfer media, for heating or cooling the mix mass. The machine has safety features and cannot operate in open conditions. A temperature sensor is provided so that the temperature of the material can be measured while the mixing operation is happening. A smart control panel controls the operation of the mixer.
