I share my journey of finding hope and purpose through space science while battling breast cancer. What began as a dream became my strength, leading me to become the first student at Namal University to pursue a Space and Satellite-focused Final Year Project. This story is about resilience, courage, and rediscovering passion against all odds. It’s a reminder that even in the darkest moments, purpose can become your greatest power. Fatimah Tu Zahra is a final-year Electrical Engineering student at Namal University whose life changed during her battle with cancer. In her weakest moments, space and satellites gave her a reason to live again, learn again, and keep dreaming forward. Today, she works with the Space Research Center Lahore and SUPARCO on student space projects and is the first student at Namal to pursue a space-focused Final Year Project—believing that even a mind worn by hardship, when driven by purpose, can move the world. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
