If you've been following my channel for a while now, you're familiar with my DIY floating blind (hide). I've used this homemade floating blind in many videos now. It's such a great way to photograph ducks, waterfowl and other birds and wildlife. In this week's video, I use my blind to get closer to and photograph a Bufflehead I noticed in the area lately. These beautiful little diving ducks are somewhat rare in my area, so what a pleasure it was to see one and actually be able to get some close-up images of him as he went about his activities. Over the past year and a half, I've developed this obsession with duck and waterfowl photography and it feels so good to have photographed another species that is completely new to me!
