Florida teen shot, killed while trying to stop fight in Boynton Beach, police say

A 17-year-old Boynton Beach boy was shot and killed on Sunday morning as he tried to break up an argument between his sister and the father of her child, police said. The Boynton Beach Police Department said Josiah Jones, 17, was struck in the abdomen after 24-year-old Trenton Robinson of Georgia allegedly pulled a gun during the dispute on NW 9th Avenue and NW 4th Street. Investigators say at around 9:15 a.m on Dec. 28, Jones stepped in to separate Robinson and a relative when Robinson fired a single round.
