Lavender Heaven in Provence! It was a Bucket List Dream Come True for me! If you are in France between mid-June to mid-August, consider visiting Provence/Valensole in France where you will be amazed by the endless breathtaking purple lavender fields! 💜 It was a truly unforgettable experience! If you only have a short stop at Provence by a cruise like we did, we highly recommend using a local Chauffeur service to take you directly from the cruise terminal to Valensole. It's convenient, comfortable, and a big time-saver! The service we used: https://cab-transfert.com/index.php?l... If you arrive by a cruise, make sure that the pickup location is MPCT-- Marseille Provence Cruise Terminal We paid 500 Euro for the whole trip (about 5 hours in total), but you can ask for an estimate depending on your needs. The service was excellent! They were very responsive to our questions before our trip. The chauffeur was above and beyond to accommodate our needs and requests. He even helped us take family photos. :) Since the round-trip drive could take around 3 hours or more depending on traffic, be sure to reserve enough return time in case there is traffic. We don't remember the exact location of the 4th lavender field and did not know its name. There are many many big lavender fields pass Valensole towards Puimoisson direction. The route we took on was likely D56. It was a narrow small road and free of big tour buses. With private chauffeur, you can go as far and stop anywhere you'd like!
