Sunday Morning Recitation at the Muhammadiyah Magetan Orphanage (Part 1) || Tireless Preaching with Ustadz KH. Ihsan Saifudin, S. Ag ~ @pangziunan =========== Tireless Preaching By: Ihsan Saifudin At the Forefront of Preaching Preaching is one of the best activities, as explained by Allah in the Quran. Therefore, to instill the spirit of preaching in various fields, the Muhammadiyah organization has instilled the spirit of "Fastabiqul Khairat." This term is often translated as "competing in goodness." Preaching is a good thing, even the best kind of goodness, as explained in the following verse: "Who is better in speech than one who calls to Allah and does good deeds?" (Fushilat:33) Leading in goodness termed "Fastabiqul khairat" is taken from a fragment of the verse which is in Surah Al-Baqarah: 148.In Al Muyassar's commentary book, fastabiqul khairat is interpreted as follows: فبادروا أيها المؤمنون متسابقين إلى فعل الأعمال الصالحة التي شرعها الله لكم في دين الإسلام. "Hasten, O believers, to compete in performing the righteous deeds that Allah has ordained in Islam." (Tafsir Al Muyassar) Another term similar to "fastabiqul Khairat," namely "Sabiqun bil khairat," is also mentioned in Surah Fathir, verse 32. Carving Out Achievements in Da'wah This short life, if not used for good, will be deeply regretted. A person's achievements in life are judged by the good deeds they have achieved. This is what is meant by the proverb "An elephant dies leaving its tusks, a tiger dies leaving its stripes, and a human dies leaving its name." The Virtue of Da'wah for Good Da'wah means invitation, and da'wah for good means inviting to good. Other similar terms include amar ma'ruf (enjoining goodness) and nahi munkar (forbidding evil). This means inviting others to do good and preventing others from doing evil. Also included in the added value of preaching to goodness is that those who guide the path of goodness will receive the same reward as those who do it. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever guides to goodness will have a reward like that of the one who does it." (Muslim: 1893) The success and glory that will be achieved in the afterlife are the rewards of ongoing charity. After death, the preacher will receive ongoing charity. According to the meaning of jariyah, which means flowing, even after they are in the grave, preachers will continue to receive jariyah charity thanks to the knowledge they spread among the community. Knowledge is one of three types of jariyah charity, and a preacher will receive all three. The three types of charity are: as the following words of the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihi Wasallam: God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing ثَلاثَةٍ : God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing "When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: ongoing charity, knowledge from which he benefits, and a righteous child who prays for him." (Narrated by Muslim 1631) Tireless Preaching Starting in the then-barren land of Mecca, Islam eventually spread throughout the world. Considering the strategic role of preaching in the spread of Islam, let us continue to ignite the spirit of preaching. In preaching, let fatigue be the source of Allah's blessings. Continue and continue preaching. Preach to the death, until death on the path of preaching. Progressive Preaching Preaching Movement Muhammadiyah's mission is progressive da'wah. This means moving in da'wah while adapting to modern developments while still adhering to the purity of Islamic law. Simply put, progressive da'wah can be identified by the following characteristics: 1) Progressive da'wah is a da'wah movement that upholds Islam as a mercy for all the worlds by prioritizing noble moral values in all aspects of da'wah. 2) Progressive da'wah is a da'wah movement that positions the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) as a good example in da'wah. 3) Progressive da'wah is a da'wah movement that combines Islamic originality with modern elements that are dynamic, flexible, and realistic, opening up space for ijtihad and tajdid in accordance with the developments of this ultra-modern era, so that movement materializes enlightening preaching spiritual, emotional and intelligence as well as intellectual Sunday Morning Orphanage Study Muhammadiyah PDM Magetan (Sunday January 11, 2026) God willing God willing In the name of Allah.. "Find peace in your heart in three places: when listening to the Quran, in the gathering of dhikr, and in solitude to reflect..." (Abdullah bin Mas'ud) Hopefully, this will be of benefit. === #StudyAhadMorning #MuhammadiyahMagetan #Tausiyah #study #Da'wah
