Hello everyone! Today I am sharing a recipe which is very easy to make and very popular in Kenya!! Poussin mogo ( cassava ), this is tasty, quick and very easy to make for your family and friends! please don't forget to like, comment and subscribe! Ingredients: frozen mogo ( cassava) defrosted 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder and salt for boiling mogo 4 tablespoons of margarine 2 teaspoons of garlic paste 1 teaspoon of salt 1 teaspoon of red hot chilli powder 1 teaspoon of white pepper 1 teaspoon of cayenne powder 1 tablespoon of tomato puree ( depending on thickness of sauce ) 2 teaspoons of malt vinegar 1 lime cut in half Method: Get a pot and place on high flame, add boiling water to pot enough to cover mogo and add the salt and turmeric powder, add the mogo and wait for the mogo to become soft and boil, once mogo becomes soft, drain the water out the mogo Once mogo cools down, cut the mogo into long pieces Get another pot and place on medium flame, add the margarine and wait for the margarine to melt Once margarine has melted, add the garlic paste and the salt, chilli powder, white pepper and cayenne powder and mix well Add malt vinegar Let the sauce cook for 5 minutes Add tomato puree Add mogo and mix carefully to avoid mogo breaking, make sure all the masala covers the mogo Keep mixing for 2-3 minutes Switch off the flame and transfer into a serving dish Squeeze lime on top and garnish with spring onions, coriander or green chillis Now sit back and enjoy!
