Date of Journey - 21st Sep 2025 Rawat Mishthan Bhandar - famous for its crisp kachoris that have been delighting locals for decades. We tried the Aloo Pyaz Kachori Lassi wala - From there, we headed to Ismail Road to savour a classic morning lassi at an old-shop that opens at 5:30 AM — a must-visit for dairy-lovers and early risers alike. This shop started in 1944, we took the small lassi glass - Rs 50. Amer Fort - built in the 16th century by Raja Man Singh, is one of Jaipur’s most iconic hill forts. Known for its blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture, the fort features grand courtyards, ornate gateways, and the famous Sheesh Mahal decorated with thousands of mirror pieces. Shri Jagat Siromani Temple - Shortly after, we paid our respects at the serene — a sacred site dedicated to Lord Krishna and Meera Bai, rich with devotional energy and historic charm. Sri Motu Ram Prasadam - For lunch, we visited the C-Scheme area, where we enjoyed hearty khichdi served with kadhi simple yet soulful. City Palace Afterwards we explored the grandeur of the City Palace, the royal residence of Jaipur’s maharajas, with its opulent courtyards, museums and stunning architecture. Jantar Mantar is an astronomical observatory built in the 18th century that still functions today. We saw the world’s largest sundial and other impressive instruments that mark this site as one of a kind. Masala Chowk - In the evening, we headed to the buzzing food hub of Masala Chowk and dived into street-chaat delicacies. Dahi Papdi - Rs 60 Chandpol Bazaar - We then wandered through the lively streets near Choti Chopad market, although it was Sunday, many shops were shuttered, but we discovered a charming namkeen shop and picked up local snacks to end our day on a high.
