48 Hours in Riga: Everything You Need to do in Latvia’s Capital

In this video we are spending 48 hours in Latvia’s capital city, Riga. We tour the city over 2 days, checking out all the major tourist attractions and go up some of Riga’s tallest buildings for unbelievable views! On Day 1, we start at the Latvian Academy of Sciences, before checking out an Orthodox church, Riga Train Station, and Riga Central Market. From there we whizz through Riga Bus Station, and into the Old Town to check out The House of the Blackheads and St Peter’s Church. On Day 2, we begin by checking out one of Riga’s lesser-known and newer viewpoints, the National Library of Latvia, where there’s a stunning view from the top. We check out more of the Old Town, including the Freedom Monument, central parks, and more stunning architecture, before finishing off in Dome Square at Riga’s Christmas Markets, where we do a 30 Euro challenge!
