We picked up a few small ones to move them to our farm. Boris and I help each other with the planting. We only have six banana trees, but we plan to plant more of different varieties. Bananas are beautiful plants, not only do they provide fruit, but also shade near our hut. After planting the banana trees, we went to the beach and found lots of wild orchids. We took a few of them and went back to the farm the next day to plant. On the day we took these orchids they were not yet open, but today they are already in full bloom. Also, the orchids smell so good, like a floral perfume. Boris made wooden poles for the orchids, and I gathered fern roots to wrap around the orchids to support their roots. Someone who subscribed told us that fern roots are the best substrate for orchids. My husband and I set to work and were delighted when we finished planting. Our farm was even more beautiful. We will plant more tropical trees and flowers in the future.
