It now costs more than before. The RTR 160 2V is the oldest Apache in TVS’ present lineup. It got a new lease of life in the form of a fuel-injected BS6 compliant motor and a new red paint scheme back in January. The Apache RTR 160 2V BS6 is now priced at (front disc) and (rear disc) TVS Apache RTR 160 Price : The price of TVS Apache RTR 160 starts at and goes upto. TVS Apache RTR 160 is offered in 2 variants - Front Disc and the top variant Apache RTR 160 Rear Disc which comes at a price tag of Apache RTR 160 Specifications : The TVS Apache RTR 160 2V BS6 is powered by a 159.7cc air-cooled and fuel-injected motor with a 2-valve SOHC setup. This BS6-compliant motor delivers 15.53PS at 8400rpm and 13.9Nm at 7000rpm. The BS6-compliant motor delivers 0.42PS and 0.87Nm more than the BS4 model. It gets a 5-speed gearbox. Another big update is the addition of Glide Through Technology, a torque-assist system, which bumps up revs at low throttle openings and prevents the engine from stalling. The Apache RTR 160 2V BS6’s race-tuned, dual-cradle frame has been carried over as have the telescopic fork and twin gas-charged shock absorbers. So can expect the motorcycle’s sporty handling traits to be carried over. Braking is via a 270mm front petal disc and 130mm rear drum. You also have an optional rear 200mm petal disc. Both get a single-channel ABS setup. The disc brake variant weighs 140kg (139kg for drum). It has a low 790mm seat height, 180mm ground clearance, and a 12-litre fuel tank. It gets 90/90-17 front and 110/80-17 rear tubeless Remora tyres. Apache RTR 160 Variants : The TVS Apache RTR 160 2V BS6 is available in two variants -- a rear disc variant and a rear drum variant. The difference between the two variants is Rs 3,000. Apache RTR 160 Design : The familiar Apache RTR 160 design remains unchanged. Even the livery is the same as its BS4 predecessor. However, while the BS4 model got six colours, the RTR 160 2V BS6 gets one extra option - gloss red. The other six colour options are pearl white, matte blue, matte red, gloss black and T Grey.
