In this Baldur’s Gate 3 solo encounter, my Rogue takes on the Spectator in the Underdark and somehow manages to save the Drow in the process. This build revolves around the Rogue’s Cunning Action: Hide, which completely throws enemies into confusion. If the Spectator can’t see me, it can’t target me… and instead wastes its turns floating around in frustration while I line up sneak attacks from the shadows. Things didn’t exactly go to plan though. While the Spectator remained outside confused and unable to act, the charmed Drow unexpectedly found me. Instead of collapsing the run, it turned into an opportunity, I was able to remove the Spectator’s charm effect, turning them non-hostile and effectively saving them mid-fight. Of course… then they repaid me by immediately blocking the window I was using to safely fire off my attacks. With my perfect vantage point ruined and a wall of very unhelpful Drow in the way, I had to reposition outside and finish the Spectator the old-fashioned way. No backup. No help. Just stealth, positioning, and patience. ✔️ Solo Rogue strategy ✔️ Creative use of Hide mechanics ✔️ Spectator charm broken ✔️ Drow rescued (even if they didn’t deserve it) If you enjoy tactical solo fights, stealth abuse or just how to cheese these difficult fights then this ones for you.
