Arab Norman Palermo and the Cathedral Churches of Cefalu and Monreale - Sicily - Italy - UNESCO

This UNESCO inscribed site is a combination of 9 religious and civic structures dating from the era of the Norman Kingdon of Sicily (1130-1194). The site was inscribed in 2015. I am not intending to trick viewers by including the Cathedral Churches of Cefalu and Monreale in the title of this Video. It is only included as this is the full name of the Inscribed site. We did not visit these 2 church sites or the site of Zisa Palace. We did however visit the majority of the sites and visited the 6 sites around Palermo in late May 2025. These sites being: The Admirals Bridge, Church of Santa Maria dell' Ammiraglio, Church of Dan Cataldo, Palermo Cathedral, Royal Palace and the Palatine Chapel and last but not least the Church of San Giovanni degli Eremiti. If I had to include favourites, they would be the interior of the church of Santa Maria dell' Ammairaglio and the interior of the Palatine Chapel in the Royal Palace. The Mosaics were amazing.
