Today we are taking a little detour from my usual content. I have been a licensed Private Pilot for 26 years and I love to fly! The problem has been, like many pilots, life got busy and we had to put flying on hold. Now I am coming back to it and would really love to work on gaining my instrument and commercial ratings. Maybe a career change, since there's a huge shortage of pilots? We'll see! In this video, I am taking a Familiarization Flight with my local flying club VP, Dan. All of my time has been spent in Cessnas and our club airplane is a 1969 Piper Cherokee (PA28). Now this isn't a flight review check-ride I'll eventually do with my flight instructor after some training time. This is just a short flight where he's getting me accustomed to the Piper and even letting me fly, take off and land. THIS IS NOT A TRAINING VIDEO! Now this was also my first time working with 3 GoPro's, an audio recorder and more! I hope you like the video and find the editing and video quality satisfactory! The mounts we had for the GoPros did not work out very well, since they were not made for airplanes! Please let me know what you think of this video in the comments section below! Meanwhile..I'm going to pinch my pennies so I can afford more flying time with the club airplane and my instructor! Like 3D Printing?
