Our first video from August & The only two Steam Locomotive's we saw in August, the Nickel Plate Road 765 & Lehigh Valley Coal Company 126 at the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society Open House, Membership day 2019! Note due to some last minute changes, to the schedule this will be the ONLY time we see 765 this year. 765's Whistle. Before you comment. I asked as it sounded different. This is the USUAL Whistle 765 has wore throughout it's excursion career from 700. Tuned differently, and it almost sounds like 2005-2011 sound, but as seen in the video they do not go to crazy on the whistle. The few times they did one could tell it sounded different. 760's is in Bellevue. Back in 2016, Christian & Go went to day 1 of the Open House with the 765, when it was renumbered 767 and given back it's mars light. That day as well Christian got Throttle time with the 765 which was an awesome experience. One thing neither Christian nor Go attended was Membership day because at the Time neither were members, and the 1225 would be leading excursions north that day out of Howell. However the Idea ALWAYS Stood out in Christian's mind and last year Christian made plans to attend, when a QJ was fired up for the first time in 6 years. And believe it or not originally we had Other plans this weekend when they fell through. So with enough time to sign up for Cab Rides, Night Sessions and other fun stuff of Membership day Christian was there. While not as exciting as the first Openhouse we attended we did have a lot of fun. With Cab Rides on both 126 & 765 it was a fun day. You even get to see the Nickel Plate Road 358 & Wabash Railroad 534 in this video as well as other stuff around the Society. That day at the Open house we met up with Toledo Rails & Dillon Goble. With more Steam on the Horizon you will be seeing some Steam Locomotive's we've never seen before so stay tuned! But this past weekend Action, did find his way back up to the Buffalo Airport to shoot another Planespotting video! Making it our 4th Planespotting video this year, meaning We will have more planespotting videos in the works then last year! We really feel we let down our planespotting fans last year, but you won't be disappointed this year! And lastly we won't be at Steam in the Valley this year.
