ZTQ15: Chinese Black Panther The ZTQ-15 might be a light tank, but it fights nothing like it. In practice, it is a compact brawler with the firepower and protection of a full-sized MBT — built to deliver every bit of it to the most challenging theaters of war. Favored by the Chinese Marines and gradually proving to be an export hit, the ZTQ-15’s on the way to MWT: Tank Battles at Tier IV in the next Battle Pass. Let’s dig in! Armed with a 105 mm heavy duty gun, the ZTQ-15 manages to achieve an impressive rate of fire with a 3.6-second reload — upgradable to 3.2 seconds — with a wide variety of shells to choose from. DTW1 APFSDS — One of the two starter rounds, delivering a balance of damage, velocity, and penetration. DTB02-105 HEI — As an alternative starter round, this shell is best reserved for softer targets such as artillery pieces, as well as unarmored SPAAs and armored personnel carriers. DTC02-105 APFSDS — One of the two upgrade options at 580 mm armor pen, this dart works best when exploiting gaps in enemy armor. DTP2 HEATFS — A sidegrade round that takes things a tad further, bumping up the penetration to 650 mm. As a bonus, the DTP2 has a higher chance of starting fires (1.3%). GP105/GP2 HEAT — Your ultimate weapon that takes the penetration up a notch to 750 mm, pairing its explosive power with guided capability. As a versatile frontline vehicle, the ZTQ-15 comes with a built-in grenade launcher, screening you from any daring flankers or helping pin down and dismantle any enemy you outmaneuver. The ZTQ-15 was designed to fight on the move. To help it achieve this goal, the tank gets a top speed of 75 km/h, as well as hull and turret mobility — letting you run circles around your slower, heavier opponents. Beyond the composite armor along the turret and front of the hull, the ZTQ-15 employs reactive armor as an extra layer of defence against both HEATFS rounds and airborne guided missiles commonly encountered at this tier. There’s also the added benefit of blowout panels in the bustle, making sure the tank doesn’t suffer from ammo cookoff. The ZTQ-15 is at its most dangerous in the right hands — ideal for disabling enemy targets piece by piece from gun to drive thanks to fast follow-up shots.,
