We Finally Did It! 😬 Imogene Pass Is INTENSE... 😱 (Colorado Road Trip - Day 9)

Wrapping up Day 9 on this Colorado road trip... Finding a campsite near Telluride? Not happening. So, we end up spending the night at a random road overlook. Oops…? 😬 The views we awoke to were stunning though (and no ticket—phew! 😅). Shortly after sunrise 🌅, we hit the road, grab a quick bite at a local bakery 🥐, and attempt the Bridal Veil Falls hike. Is it a steep trail? Oh yeah. 😵‍💫 The views though? Top-notch. 🌄 Time? Running out. ⏳ With Imogene Pass ahead, we push forward. Can our truck even make it through Imogene Pass? We're also somewhat top heavy since we have the camper up top. Imogene Pass? HOLY GUTS. The Telluride side is no joke—narrow road, sheer drop-offs, off-camber sections, and sweaty palms. 😨 But the summit at 13,114 feet makes it all worth it. 🙌 Then comes the descent toward Ouray—less terrifying, but way more technical. 🛻💨 Eventually, we find a camp spot along the trail, surrounded by nothing but mountains, solitude, and million-dollar views. 🌙🏕️ We can finally breathe!
