In September I had the great luck to fly at this very scenic place in the south eastern part of Denmark - only flyable with very specific conditions to do it safely. The limestone cliffs were formed millions of years ago, when this area was a sea floor. They are about 110 meters high with the surrounding area being max. 135 meters. I was catapulted up to around 440 meters with the extra help of a little sea thermal. The surrounding area was cloud free, but occasionally clouds form just above this place - and that made it the most amazing flight ever. The stationary cloud mass was well defined and the lift made me soar to just above the cloud top - with a fantastic view that blew me away. Some of the chalk cliffs are corroded and fall into the sea - that's why you see the white area in the water near the coast line. A true wonder to experience in Denmark - also from the ground where you can discover fossils in the chalk on the small beach. The beautiful music is by Mike Oldfield.
