Welcome to my Race Strategy Guide for Super Formula - Fuji International Speedway on Gran Turismo 7 This World Circuit race features Super Formula cars, No PP Limit and any tyre type can be used. THIS GUIDE HAS BEEN UPDATED FOR UPDATE 1.66 This race was completed on HARD difficulty. Laps - 15 Tyres - X5 Fuel - X3 The car I will be using for this race: SF23 Super Formula / Honda ’23 You can also use the Toyota if you want, they’re exactly the same. STRATEGY: Start the race on Racing Soft Tyres, pit on Lap 9-10 for Racing Soft Tyres only. Fuel saving IS NOT required, DO NOT refuel at the pit stop. NOTE: If you don’t have a button configured to Overtake, make sure you do that before the race, overtake is the same button as DRS and Nitrous. Make sure you own the Intermediate Tyres and the Heavy Wet Tyres. Monitor the weather radar for rain and if it does rain keen an eye on the water level on your HUD. If it hits 1/3 it means the track is wet enough for Intermediate Tyres, if the bar is 2/3 full then its wet enough for Heavy Wet Tyres and the bar will start to turn blue. The only thing to change in the Car Setup is the downforce, everything else is the default setup. I did this to make it a bit simpler to understand. With this setup we do lose a little bit of straight line speed but more than make up for it through Sector 2 & 3 of this track. When following a car closely be careful of Dirty Air, Dirty Air will give you understeer through corners and increase your tyre wear so try not to sit directly behind other cars for too long. I have the Traction Control set to level 0 for this Video but that’s personal preference and you can choose whatever setting you want, although having it set higher will cost you time so its worth getting used to a low level of Traction Control or turning it off all together would be even better. I also show my steering and pedal inputs via a couple of cameras to show my inputs if that interests you. If you have any questions please feel free to ask me in the comments below and if the video has helped you please like and subscribe :) Here are some timestamps for the video: Race Details - 0:00 Race Strategy - 0:12 Car Setup - 0:23 Race Tips - 0:46 Race Start - 1:05 Race End - 22:41 Outro - 22:57 My Settings / Equipment Settings Used: Manual Transmission ABS - Default TCS - 0 (Unless specified above) Counter-steer Assist - Strong Steering Sensitivity- 0 Steering Force Feedback Max.
