Street Running & Railroad Switching, Run Around Sue Local Freight Coming & Going, La Grange Kentucky

Watch the street runner local freight run down Main Street and then do switching in the yard. This is the CSX "Run Around Sue". Street running train coming and going after running the 3 locomotives around their train in the 4 track LaGrange, Kentucky yard. This CSX train switches a customer about 4 miles west of LaGrange and then runs down Main Street heading to the yard. In the yard, the locomotives run around their train so that the train can return to Louisville with the engines on the other end. This video shows the street running in both directions and shows how the engines are run around to the other end of the train. This is the only video on YouTube that shows all of this. Trains use 161.370 for switching and calling out the signals. They use 161.310 to talk to the CSX dispatcher. Filmed January 20, 2021.
