Hey, welcome back to game development diaries on Jan Kiepski: a channel about games! In this devlog series, I'm going to show you how I made "Blow & Fly", a physics-based platformer in which you move and aim at the same time. I'm making this platformer in Unity, and I'm constantly recording the progress I make. Since this is my indie game devlog #1, in today's video you'll see the very first prototype I made for "Blow & Fly". While making this Unity 2D platformer, I began by making sure that it feels nice to play as its main character even without all the art, sound effects and other fancy things. In my eyes, that's a very important thing to deal with when you're making a game. Whether you're an indie game developer yourself or you're interested in games made with Unity for some other reason – I'm looking forward to sharing many more entertaining videos about indie games with you! Make sure to subscribe so you don't miss them. ;)
