We set out for an unreal day of ice fishing, riding tracked ATVs across the frozen backcountry in search of brook trout. The conditions couldn’t have been better—blue skies, no wind, and a rare perfect Newfoundland winter day. But the fishing? Well… it didn’t start out great. After trying a few spots with little luck, we decided staying in one place wasn’t an option!
