Scuba Diving at Flat Rock, NORTH STRADBROKE (epic visibility)

Flat Rock (January, 9, 2022) North Stradbroke Island, which lies in Moreton Bay near Brisbane, is the second largest sand island in the world. It is popular weekend getaway place and is famous for its dive sites. One of them, Manta Bommie, is rated in top 10 dive sites in Australia. This video was filmed at another dive site of North Stradbroke - Flat Rock, which at the time had 25-30m visibility. I've been waiting for this dive for a month o so as it kept getting cancelled due to poor conditions caused by a tropical cyclone. When it finally was safe to dive I didn't have much expectations assuming that water would be still cloudy and stirred by rains. However, when we arrived to the site I was stunned to see sea bottom from the boat. Despite endless rains for the last three weeks the water was crystal-clear and full of marine life. Leopard sharks, green turtles, wobbegongs, eagle ray are just some of the highlight of this dive.
