Download free PDF: 47 household items to resell for profit: https://courses.fleamarketflipper.com... Instagram: / fleamrktflipper Last month we sold four items to make over $4,000 on eBay. If you don’t know, we tend to gravitate toward items that are going to make us large profits rather than spending hours doing a bunch of small items to make $5-$20 profits. We try to 10X our investment. Let’s dive into the eBay fees, shipping costs, and of course, the profits. Item #1 – Carpet Scraper The carpet scraper was an electric machine with a motor that sits on top of it. The motor oscillates the blade and it does chipping or scratching to get the tile or carpet up. It’s a commercial unit. We got it from one of my vendor friends that we’ve purchased from over the years. I was able to ship it in two boxes rather than ship it via freight. Sold: $500 + $150 for shipping COGS (cost of goods sold): $75 eBay Fees: $87 Shipping: $131 Profit: $357 What We Sold Over The Weekend For A Total Of $1,685 Item #2 – Boombox I got the boombox from a thrift store. I had looked up boomboxes on eBay and saw that some of them were selling for a lot. This one was from the early 1990s. It had two tape decks and a five CD changer on top. Before we sent it off, I pulled out some old CDs and tapes to make sure it worked and the kids had a blast with them. Sold: $250 COGS (cost of goods sold): $15 eBay Fees: $25 Shipping: $21 Profit: $189 What We Sold Over The Weekend For A Total Of $1,685 Item #3 – Oxygen Bar We were on a road trip when I found this oxygen bar at a thrift store. I didn’t know what it was but did some research and saw retail on it was $2,000-$3,000. Since this one sold for $750 we had to have the buyer sign for it. Anything over $750, you need to have your buyer sign for it. eBay requires that to verify they receive the item. It’s also a good reminder to always add extra insurance in case something happens to your product in shipping. Sold: $750 COGS (cost of goods sold): $10 eBay Fees: $105 Shipping: $27 Profit: $608 What We Sold Over The Weekend For A Total Of $1,685 Item #4 – Wheelchair I had this wheelchair for a while. I was regretting it after I bought it because it smelled like cigarette smoke and I wiped it down, scrubbed it, and it wouldn’t go away. Eventually I got a big mattress bag from U-Haul, drove it in there, and sprinkled a whole box of baking powder all over the unit. I sealed up the bag, left it for a couple days, and then repeated the process. When I pulled it out after about a week, the smoke smell was gone. Then I took all the plastics off and the cushion and washed all of that. It turned out well. Sold: $2,500 COGS (cost of goods sold): $250 eBay Fees: $314 Shipping: $437 Profit: $1,499 That’s a recap of what we sold last month to make about $4,000 with just four items and only about 10 hours of work into it. 00:00 Introduction 01:26 Item 1 03:47 Item 2 05:42 Item 3 08:58 Item 4
