A well known personality on the Irish road racing scene, as a young man Billy McCosh was challenging the best in the world at the Isle of Man TT. Filmed in December 2009, Billy's insights into this popular sport during the 1960s show the skill and dedication he and his contemporaries needed to stay 'between the hedges'. He begins by revealing how sparks flew one day when he raced with Richard Creith; growing up with ambitions to be the next Malcolm Templeton and from first place, to tenth, to second at the 1964 North West 200. Billy was interviewed with Richard Creith and Len Ireland and his light hearted closing line is typical of the friendship and respect they still have for each other: "I'd some very good races with these pair of gankes here!"
