Borough: London Borough of Havering Date Filmed: 08/07/2019 Location: Ferry Lane (Pedestrianised), Rainham Trains: 1) 2 Class 357s (c2c) - 2:25 2) Class 357 (c2c) - 5:35 Filmed with: UK Level Crossings Channel | JT Crossings UK | Paul Gilman Located within Rainham in the London Borough of Havering next to Rainham Station, East London. There is quite a rare set-up here as this level crossing is only ever used by pedestrians and the occasional authorised vehicle to access HS1 lineside. It's been like this since when HS1 was built which cut off Ferry Lane (the road that this crossing was once on), and it's quite rare for a level crossing which is mostly only ever used by pedestrians to have standard wigwags. Four fairly short barriers are in operation here along with four LED wigwags from late 2017, and two old yodalarms which have both seen better days as one produces a really fast tone and the other produces a really squeaky tone. As the second class 357 sits in the station, you can hear a Eurostar unit whizz by on HS1. Thanks for watching!
