Working off grid and another Toyota find in the snow

This film is a vlog from the last fourteen days of my life in the Scandinavian mountains. During these two winter weeks I’ve been traveling by snowmobile to a remote cabin worksite, repairing a chimney, cooking meals over an open fire, and building a woodshed at home that I later haul up the mountain on a sled. I also talk about why I still haven’t started building the workshop – and what’s been holding me back. Not everything goes smoothly. My Volvo wheel loader refuses to start, and I dig out a buried 1987 Toyota Starlet from the snow before towing it to a garage. This is everyday life up here – work, problem solving, old machines, winter weather and simple meals by the fire.
