Cab view of the JR Ito Line from Ito Station to Atami Station. The Ito Line, which connects Atami Station and Ito Station, connects with the private Izu Kyuko Railway at the southern terminal, Ito Station, and many trains run on both lines. The train the camera is on is the Izu Kyuko Railway's "Resort 21" train that runs to Atami Station. Construction was also difficult, and the entire line was completed in 1938, which is one of the later major railway lines in Japan. In this video, the mountains are on the left and the coastline on the right, and many tourist facilities such as hotels are built along the line. At the end of the video, I added some scenery around Atami Station. Atami is a popular tourist destination with hot springs, and the shopping street in front of the station is lined with souvenir shops and food shops. In front of the station, there is also a steam locomotive from a light railway that used to run nearby.
