If you can crush a Murph workout in 30-40 minutes and have no soreness after it, you maybe ready for what we call the Murph EMOM method to get the 100 pullups, 200 pushups, 300 squats. 1 - Pullups - Do max pullups EMOM but while not doing pullups you do flutterkicks until the next minute until complete with 100 pullups. 2 - Pushups - Do max pushups EMOM while staying in the plank pose or "leaning rest / up pushup position" the entire time (when not doing pushups). Do this until 200 pushps are done. 3 - Squats - Do max squat EMOM and when not doing squats, you do wall sits. Do this until 300 squats are done. For even harder option do this with a weight vest. Give it a try as you start to prepare for this year's Memorial Day Murph. Other methods, the 10 set of 10,20,30 super set method. The 1-10-1 Pyramid of pullups x 1, pushups x 2, squats x 3. And max rep set all three exercises in a 3 exercise circuit until done. How few sets can you do it. Single digits? 4, 5, 6?
