In this video I talk about the support the Crisis Team offer, but this is based on my personal experience. Crisis Teams may be called something else depending on where you live, and the services and quality of services will differ depending on your location and the resources available. When we are poorly mentally we may need to go into hospital, however, there is also support available in the form of ‘The Crisis Team’. They will support you 24/7 when you’re in their care, meaning you don’t have to go into hospital. I will explain what the Crisis Team are, what they do and how to get their support. Please share your experience of the Crisis Team in the comments below – and if you have information about Crisis Teams outside the UK the please share with TLBP Community – it’s always great to hear from you guys. Here are the chapters and where they appear in the video: Intro – 0:30 Overview of the Crisis Team – 1:28 What are the Crisis Team? – 2:05 What other names can be given to the Crisis Team? – 4:05 How does the Crisis Team help? – 4:41 Who make up the Crisis Team? – 8:26 How do I get help from the Crisis Team? – 10:36 Thank you for taking the time to watch this - I hope to see you next time. Please subscribe to my channel for more videos about mental illness and leave any questions or comments you may have in the space below. Take care and I hope you have a safe, peaceful week. TLBP x As with all my videos, I'm trying to explain everything as clearly as possible and provide examples from my life to help you understand. I might not get everything right every time, but I wanted to give it a go, and I hope it will be of benefit to you. This Vlog is from my perspective, but I do appreciate that not everyone will have had the same experience as myself - we are all different after all. I have also tried, where applicable, to reference everything correctly, but we are all human and make mistakes - please stick with me.
