Reading and Northern 2102: Modern Steam Freight

On August 19th, 2022, Reading and Northern's steam locomotive, T-1 #2102, hauled a revenue coal manifest freight train from Tamaqua to Reading, PA. This was done in addition to turning the locomotive around, as it was still facing Southbound from its previous excursion and had to be turned around to face North for its Labor Day Iron Horse Ramble Excursion. In the morning, #2102 traveled as light-power up to Tamaqua station, where it picked up Reading and Northern CEO Mr. Andy Muller Jr., who engineered the locomotive on its return move with the freight to Reading. Upon delivering the freight to Reading, #2102 then traveled as light-power back to Port Clinton, where it met diesel locomotive #2530 which was used to ferry-move #2102 to the wye at Haucks to be turned around.
