The Eid coverage came with coordinated support across various institutions — including the Royal Family, government branches, and mainstream media. Was this a synchronized campaign? Many people, including voices like Katherine Blaiklock and David Vance, suggest it was. In this video, I look at: The BBC’s coverage and online reporting of the Eid prayers Widespread social media posts and coordinated greetings from public figures Concerns about Christian traditions like Lent and Easter being sidelined The British Army turning off replies on an Eid post after backlash Shocking claims about more Muslims fighting for ISIS than being in the British Army at the time A viral video showing Muslims burning a photo of Italian PM Giorgia Meloni during Eid celebrations Keir Starmer's omission of Mother's Day while posting Father's Day and Eid greetings As a Christian, I reflect on how this affects our national identity. I share a quote comparing the final words of major religious leaders — Muhammad, Buddha, Confucius — to those of Jesus Christ, who alone claimed to be “the way, the truth, and the life.” I also explore Bible passages that relate to the times we’re living in: 2 Timothy 3:1–5 — a clear description of today’s society 2 Peter 3:3–4 — scoffers in the last days Matthew 24:14 — the gospel preached to all nations before the end Matthew 24:36–39 — parallels with the days of Noah Are we living in the last days? With social changes, global confusion, and a move away from biblical truth, I believe we are getting closer to Christ’s return. At the end of the video, I share the good news of the gospel and invite anyone who doesn’t yet know Jesus to pray a simple prayer of salvation.
