Stormy skies & slow orders. 3/4/26.

Most of the day was spent by the crews of Vorst Paving & INRD track crews working on replacing new ties between the switch near Highway 59 south & 12th St. Southeast. The day was filled with rain and very overcast conditions, but work orders have to be filled. After all, safety is key! Well, after missing the repair work segment of the days activities, I decided to attempt to venture out on search of the local. Well, it hardly fails... when it rains, it pours. Literally! Before filming began, I was undecided on where to film, getting a good shot around this particular location is tricky, especially with the lack of visibility. So, before the trains arrival in town, I decided to take a short walk down to the Southwest 2nd St location to try my luck, as this crossing has been good to me in past attempts. As the train drew closer, so did the rain! I sincerely hope you, the viewer enjoy this offering as it was overall interesting to say the least! :)
