Sweet & Sour Braised Shrimp | Red Blessing Shrimp 🧾 Ingredients Shrimp • 6 large shrimp(350g) • Paper towels for drying Aromatics • ginger, garlic, green onions , chopped Sauce • ketchup (50g) • salt (3g) • sugar (8g) • 150 ml water Optional garnish • Chopped green onions or sesame seeds Instruction 1️⃣ Prep the shrimp • cut shrimp along the back and remove the vein • Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels. • Chop ginger, garlic, and green onions 2️⃣ Make the sauce • In a small bowl, mix ketchup, salt, sugar, and water until combined. 3️⃣ Cook the shrimp • Heat a pan over medium heat with some oil. • Pan-fry shrimp until pink and lightly golden. • Remove the shrimp and add some more oil, stir-fry the garlic and ginger until fragrant. 4️⃣ Simmer & braise • Pour in the sauce, add the shrimp and let it simmer for about 5 minutes. • Turn up the heat and reduce the sauce until thick, sticky, and glossy. 5️⃣ Serve • Remove from heat, coat shrimp evenly with the red glaze. • Garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds if desired.
