He has studied under noble Scholars from Ash-Sham, Egypt, Hijaz and Mauritania, scholars from all the four madhhabs. The shaikh studied the `Ulum ush-Shar`iyyah and `Ulum ul-Aalah under them, memorised a copious number of texts, was tested in them and then authorised to teach them. He is Hanbali in fiqh and theology, and in ihsan upon the methodology of Shaikh `Abdul Qadir Al-Jilani. The shaikh is an expert in comparative theology – having studied and memorised the Hanbali, Maturidi and Ash`ari texts. He has studied the Hanbali madhhab to an advanced level and also studied Comparative Fiqh. Today he is teaching at his ma`ahad Hanbali fiqh, theology, ihsan, tafsir, hadith, tajwid, history and other sciences. The shaikh continues studying and memorising and also continues his translation projects.
