In TruBreak Training 18, we take the broken grip drill and move one step upstream into a full unconcealed appendix draw (shirt tucked—no garment clear yet). The goal is to keep the same mechanics you’ve already built—clean grip, trigger timing, and follow-through—and integrate them into a simple draw sequence. You’ll learn a consistent support-hand behavior (sternum index), then the draw steps: lift → rotate → orient the muzzle to target, marry the hands using your trigger-guard index point, and complete the rep: extend → prep → break → reset → re-prep. We also cover a critical habit: both hands move at the same time—avoiding the common deficiency where the support hand stays lazy and meets the gun too late. You’ll run reps with shot-count variation (2–3 shots), bring your optic/sights to your line of sight, and return safely with finger off trigger and controlled reholster. Next video: we take it one layer further into the concealed draw. 00:15 Bridge: Broken Grip Drill → The Draw 00:34 Setup: Appendix Carry, Shirt Tucked (Unconcealed Phase) 01:00 Safe Return: Finger Off Trigger + Reholster Flow 01:10 Support Hand Default: Sternum Index 01:15 Draw Steps: Lift → Rotate → Orient to Target 02:20 Next Phase: Hands at Sides (Both Hands Move Together) 02:40 Common Deficiency: Lazy Support Hand (Late Meet-Up) 00:00 Forward Reps: Both Hands Move, High Grip Purchase 03:38 Sight/Optic to Line of Sight (Don’t Shoot Low/Off Plane)
