Homemade DIY Record Cutting Lathe

(Sorry for blurry camera.) I made my own record lathe. I used radio shack suitcase turntable from the 70s(?), because it is AC motor driven. I also made a cutting head. I used full range speaker connected to the cone shaped needle I made from tiny drill bit. For my recording, I use a stereo audio with modified inverse RIAA and low pass filter set at 10KHz. For a drive shaft, most record lathes uses feed screw to move the cutting head. On my record lathe, The "tonearm" is angular based, and it is driven by very slow winding gearbox, which uses string to slowly pull the cutting head across the turntable. I usually record audio on CD. Specs: Speaker: Unknown, but I salvage them from Insignia IS-SP102371 flat panel speaker. Each of them contain 2 (powerful) speakers with no cone, and each speaker is rated around 50W, and 4 Ohms. Capactor: 2u2 capacitor connected in series on each speaker for bass attenuation. Needle: Made from a drill bit. Sharpened to a 90 degree cone. Gearbox: Salvaged from analog electric timer.
