This is a remake of my original Love Street video. This updated version has a better organ and piano tone and more accurate notes on the piano. Love Street was recorded sometime in early 1968. It is very different from what the Doors had previously done. By this album, Ray had completely ditched his Fender Rhodes bass (for studio not live) so every organ he played from Waiting For the Sun-L.A. Woman is just the organ by itself. This song has an actual bassist on it and consists of Ray on his Gibson G-101 “Kalamazoo” organ and a piano. Ray starts the song only on his e organ but adds his piano starting at the interlude between the first and second verse. The piano mimics what the organ plays but plays it faintly. During the bridge, Ray plays the root notes of the chords with his left hand and arpeggiates the chords with his right. During the solo, Ray does faint chord stabs with his left hand as he plays the melody with his right. Going back into the verse, Ray plays the piano even quieter. For the outro, Ray plays different versions of his solo. I tried my best to pick out how he plays it each time and I got almost more for note.
