La Turlutte à Honoré St-Pierre - Devon's Tune of the Week 62

It's my birthday today, so I convinced my daughter Zo to join us on guitar for one of our favorite Acadian tunes, "La Turlutte à Honoré St-Pierre". He was a singer from the tiny hamlet of Saint-Irénée, near Tracadie-Shéila in New Brunswick. My dad and I drove all over this area this year looking for the Rivière à la Truite, so we know it well. We've been playing this tune for years after first learning it from the band Entourloupe. According to André Marchand, there's a version of this tune in La Beauce in Québec. GREAT tune and it really helps to sing the tune as a turlutte. It makes a lot more sense when you sing it.
