Members of the Church of God and the Saints of Christ have appealed to the government to speed up land distribution amongst the people of South Africa. They say the Bulhoek massacre 100 years ago was the direct result of the landlessness of that generation. They say the democratic government should take lessons from what their forebears had to endure to secure land. The centenary commemoration of the massacre was held in Ntabelanga in the Eastern Cape.
