Presented 8/20/2025 Curriculum Team Day - Fall 2025 Lone Star College-Kingwood Presented by: , Dr. Jae Hak Jung, Chris Reid, Dr. Chris Tkach, & Christina Todd This presentation is designed to introduce and demonstrate key data, resources, and tools that support Data-Informed Curriculum Decisions. We’ll begin with an overview from AIR, highlighting its team, support services, and powerful data tools - most notably, the Power BI dashboards. These dashboards include: Transfer Summary Page – Showcasing how many students transfer to four-year institutions from various LSC Academic Plans. Sequential Course Analyzer – Tracking student success across sequential courses based on grade performance. Representatives from Academic Initiatives and Partnerships (AIP) will then demonstrate how to use decision-making prompts and analytical tools that index relevant factors and learning outcomes—particularly those tied to Workforce student success metrics, such as employment rates. Ultimately, our goal is to guide the audience from understanding the data— where to find it and how to interpret it—to engaging in strategic decision making that drives impactful curriculum improvements.
