This was originally a video about the Sword Logic. Capital S, capital L. The driving philosophy of an alien species from a sci-fi looter-shooter, which also happens to grant its practicioners superpowers. A sort of sorcery-by-social-darwinism. It was a video about why it was wrong, or why the practice wasn't true to the tenets, or how the Bob Logic had supplanted its primacy, but as I tried to peel back the layers I frustratingly found that there was a coiled mess beneath the surface. Like a writing old worm rotting the fruit it burrowed through, I could see how the facets of Destiny's philisophical incongrueties marred the story of the franchise at every place it touched. I want to talk about the Logics. I want to talk about the Deep. About becoming sharp, the Gardener, the Winnower, the Witness, the Traveler, the Veil. I want to talk about Paracausality. I want to talk about Destiny. Capital D and lowercase.
