This is the smallest and the narrowest if not I‘ve ever seen and rode! This elevator is definitely NOT for people with claustrophobia. I also almost got claustrophobia at this thing, like I can’t imagine getting stuck in here at all. Still interesting that it features a telephone, which is actually common at those Thyssen Stepmodul Basics. This is a later addition in this historical building, and there seems to be very little space for an elevator. No womder why it‘s small, but still a wonder that it‘s actually THAT small! Information: Brand: Thyssen Year: 1990s Fixtures: STEP Basic Serial: 8/19329 Type: Inground telescopic hydraulic Capacity: 225kg 3 People (I think only 2 can fit in here) Floors: 4 (E,1,2,D) Speed: 0.6m/s History: Original My rating: 8/10 (since it’s way too small) Pros: Nice motor sound when going up Runs well Features a telephone which is normally very rare but common on those late 80s and 90s Thyssens Cons: Extremely tiny and claustrophobic elevator Date of recording: 30.01.2026 Camera: iPhone 13
