Amazing elevator! It looks really beautiful and historic. I like the original cab, shaft and the swing doors. It even has original buttons from 1912, but unfortunately they are not wired anymore! It also has scissor doors, which are extremely rare now, and it’s possible that they are original. A little story to it: This building, same with the elevator, was built in 1912. The elevator used to serve four floors and used to be winding drum-traction before, as you can see at the ground floor, there are three massive wheels. People have planed to abandon this elevator, and it did get abandoned in 1998 for safety. After a few years, or maybe a decade, they planned to modernize it, and change the type to inground hydraulic, because the building then also increased one floor. They did the same with the elevator, this explains why the shaft doors on 5th floor are new.
