Tanguhulu 冰糖葫蘆 in gr and cups: 300 gr Sugar ( 1 1/2 cups) 50 gr Water ( 3 tbsp) 2 tbsp Honey Red Food Coloring ( optional ) Strawberries NOTE: Allow to sit for 10 minutes to harden and enjoy right away! These are meant to be eaten right away. Tanghulu is a traditional Chinese treat consisting of fruits coated in hardened caramel. It's delicious! And you can use any fruit you prefer! NOTE: If you don't have a thermomether bring the sugar mixture to a slight amber color, as shown in the video ( hard caramel ). You can also test the candy by dropping it in some cold water. If it hardens it's ready. I personally don't recommend this method though as caramel can be dangerous and it's best not to mess with. Enjoy! ♥
