Normally, you'd hear a different morshificate today, but last time I went by a cherry tree, there were only about a dozen petals still hanging on, so I had to act quickly. Also, this and the next two morshificates (bar the one due next week) were all from the same game and overall very similar, so I decided to pack them into one medley. To not mess with THE COUNT, you'll get this one and the one in two weeks fresh out of the oven! In preparation for this image, I did a lot of research on ukiyo-e and skimmed through hundreds of works of different Japanese artists on Wikimedia Commons - at one point, I overdid it and my entire surroundings looked like a woodcut print to me for a few hours. That was... something. Since being overweight was and is frowned upon in Japan (except when you're a Sumōtori), and being clean shaven was the style in Edo-period Japan, I didn't have high hopes for finding fitting reference for Morshu.
