Design Description: This climber is great as a standalone climbing structure, or it can be connected to a platform. Building Steps: 1. Peel the bark from the logs and paint them. 2. Dig two ditches, even and square with these holes, one on either side of the circular holes. 3. Place the two logs into the circular holes. 4. Make sure your bolts are long enough to go through two layers of logs. Drill a hole all the way through both logs and attach using a bolt. Do this for both sides. 5. Try and fill in some of the ditch with dirt before you add the concrete. 6. Next you’re going to cut out notches. Have someone hold the log in place while you carefully mark the notch. 7. Drill a hole through each log and attach to the vertical and diagonal logs using two lag bolts and washers. 8. You’re going to cut out notches in the next 6 logs. 9. Drill a hole near the end of each diagonal log. Once drilled, thread the rope through one side and tie a knot on the end.
