A chill beginner's guide for anyone who enjoys Vagante, or the rogue-like genre in general. Addendum (As of July 18th, 2020): There is a new unlockable class called the houndmaster. This class focuses on a 'companion-based play style'. There is a new hard-mode that is even harder than the base game and includes champion variants of some mobs, as well as new and harder boss variants. There is a new *INCREDIBLY EXCITING* steam workshop compatibility with Vagante. This allows players to create and publish their own levels in a super mario-esque fashion. Any corrections/suggestions found in the comments: [The] Shackled grants a special ring if you offer it 3 uncurse scrolls, though this must be [done] before you destroy it during a run. -Ant Wu If you drop books or scrolls in the bonfire it gives you health. -Giulio Sabatino You can also bring the chicken to the campfire to roast him.
