I made this channel to help my students learn physiology on their own time, at their own pace. To help others do the same, I published my lectures. This video reviews how myelin increases the speed of electrical signals (conduction velocity) in neurons by using saltatory conduction. Additionally, it reviews multiple sclerosis, a debilitating disease caused by the loss or damage of neurons. This channel is dedicated to helping students and instructors navigate physiology by providing full access to a semester's worth of physiology videos. Some videos are entire lectures while others are one part of a lecture. You can follow through the video series in order by following the numbers that are in each video title.
